Fox News - Chris Wallace To Paul Ryan: 'Why Are You And Romney Losing?'

"Chris Wallace got tough with Paul Ryan on 'Fox News Sunday' this week. Discussing the economy, Wallace asked Ryan, "Why aren't you guys running away with this race? Let me pull up some of the statistics. Unemployment is 8.1 percent. No president has won reelection with unemployment that high since FDR ... given all of that, why are you and Romney losing at this point?" Wallace also noted that no president has won reelection with GDP growth as low as the current 1.3 percent since the U.S. started measuring GDP growth...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

  • Just answer the question Mr. Ryan! Why are you guys losing?! Could it be that all you've offered is groundless and sometimes mindless criticism's while at the same time offering only very vague alternative options.

I have to assume the Republicans put party before country and purposely delayed or stopped Obama from being more effective for the last 4 years. I also believe that things would have been much worse for the working-class had the last Republican candidate been elected.

    Romney is th More..

  • Chris Wallace is one of the few people on Fox News that I respect. He seems to be one of the few who still remember journalistic integrity. Cenk Uygur and TYT could take a lesson.

  • Good for Chris Wallace squeezing lying Paul Ryan's little nuts. It's funny even Fox News is tired of his bull shit.

  • Ryan is speaking but nothing he says even closely mention how their policies is better than Obama's...you can play the subtle color card for so long until people realize your policies makes no sense.....

  • I have to give credit to Chris Wallace for journalistic integrity. I honestly would have never suspected such from Fox News interviewing a Republican.

That said, to the content, the Paul Ryan budget plan has already been proven to have too many 'what ifs' and 'best case scenarios' that if don't come to pass blow our economy out of the water.

It is suspected that it would in an emergency, need to rely on our social security and medicare funds to bail it out effectively ending those two pro More..

  • For all the Free Market cheer leading around here...Why is it always the Media's fault? What a bunch of bed wetters.

Stand up be a man...Test your ideas with the voters...the ideas work and catch on or they do not.

The GOP is forced to perform gymnastics everyday to cover their pandering to special interests...Sounds as if their model is running out of steam.

  • I absolutely HATE TYT, but the original interview is hilarious if you can watch the whole thing! That little bullshitter wiggles in his chair like a worm the whole time, I would assume because he thought Chris Wallace would throw him some softball pitches to raise conservative poll numbers. Fortunately, FOX is as tired as the rest of us having to listen to their garbage. Voters want to know what(exactly)the candidates are proposing, and this duo of dipshittery has provided nothing in the last mo More..

    • @Nepean109

Don't talk about Joe Biden that way. He may be a stupid goofball buffoon that accidentally insults everybody in the room and embarrasses the president every time he opens his mouth, but you should comment on his looks. That would be unkind.

    • @Yukon6400 Did you know Joe Biden was the reason for Obama's change of views regarding gay marriage/DADT?

That's his baby. I'd say he's a more effective VP than Cheney was, who spent his presidency mainly finding un-baptized children to drain of blood...

  • Personally, I feel the rich hold the middle class hostage to make sure we don't raise taxation on the wealthy. I believe both parties engage in this as they always lump the middle class in with the rich on any taxation proposal be they tax increases or decreases. Point is, neither party wants to raise taxes on the 1% so they use the middle class as the sacrificial lamb for their taxation policy. It's a scam from both sides of the aisle folks.

  • OK, if its revenue neutral, why do "tax cuts" matter?

You give us tax cuts, and close loop holes... and its revenue neutral? How does that count as a tax cut if the sum total of money going into the government and out of our pockets is the same?

Anybody wanna take a crack at that?
