Pretty much. A LOT of the ANA are extremely sympathetic toward the Taliban.
That was the worst part of being there: that guy smiling and talking to you might very well be shooting at you or supplying information to the Taliban a day later.
You never know who is a friendly. They're all shifty as hell.
