Best way to remove tattoos. You will need sterile water, 4X4 gauze pads, table salt in a clean (preferably sterilized) bowl, triple antibiotic ointment and some non stick first aid pads.
Clean and sanitize hands well if you don't want to wear gloves!
Moisten the gauze pads with sterile water.
Dip the dampened pad into the table salt.
Using a circular motion begin rubbing the tattoo area with the salted gauze pad.
Rub until you see tiny amounts of blood begin to seep out of the pores.
Cleanse More..the remaining salt from the area with a dampened gauze pad then pat the area dry with a dry gauze pad. Then you can apply a thin layer of antibiotic to the area then cover it with a non stick pad. Change the pad two times a day until the scab is fully formed. Only use the antibiotic ointment with dressing changes for the first three days. If the area later becomes reddened begin using the ointment again for three more days. Keep the wound dry at all times until the scab is well formed. Whenever possible leave the wound uncovered to air out. Open air will assure a speedy infection free healing process.
The abraded skin will form a thin scab. The tattoo will usually shed it's self right along with scab. Sometimes you may need to repeat the process on deeper tattoos. This method removes tattoos nicely with little pain and it usually heals rapidly.Less..
@Pure_Adrenaline, If you have an old faded tattoo this method will erase it completely on the first try. Scarring is usually no problem. The wound will heal leaving smooth skin behind. Proper wound care is the key.
The reason I suggested to use the antibiotic ointment for 3 day intervals is because of it's petroleum base. Petroleum jelly creates an air proof barrier and retards the healing process. Use it sparingly and only apply thin layers.
@corgi_o_ner, People have different tolerances to pain. This tattoo removal process can be done in several stages. Light abrasion will facilitate the regeneration of only the first few layers of skin. Repeated light applications will fade out the tattoo in steps.
It's a more costly and time consuming method but it works.
@corgi_o_ner Well I bought my supplies today. I think I'll begin tommorow or tonight maybe. If I can stand the pain is it better to give it a heavier abrasion at first. I have a 22 yr old colored tattoo 3x5 inches on my upper right arm. The colors have faded some over the years but the lines are still very sharp. Im also looking up other sources too so I do this 100% correct the first go around. Thanks again!
@Pure_Adrenaline, I see that there is a whole bunch of info on home dermabrasion on the internet and it all sounds pretty good. For example. The use of hydrogen peroxide to sanitize after the abrasion is a very good idea.
Sounds like you will probably be able to get the faded areas with the first try on a 20yr old tattoo. You will be amazed at the results after the initial scabbing sloughs off.
what a fucking moron

a hot iron would have been a lot more effective. I don't know if any of these people own or know what an iron is used for anyway.

Real men use a cheese grater. Enjoy the permanent scar to your arm. Now he's got something else to permanently remember her by.
Hep C and tetanus are a free bonus.
