SRV's stage volume was about 50dB louder than JB's. LOL
I'd love to have seen SRV and Billy Gibbons get together. Without any blow.
Voted.

@Blech Here is SRV with Dick Dale playing Dale's pipeline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWw55XhTehg&feature=fvwrel
Dales version of misirlou was also the sound track for pulp fiction.

The thing that amazes me about SRV is how seamless his playing is. It's near impossible to tell where a part of a song transitions into another part. It does, but where?

@ajang Man, I thought Blues had run it's course until he came along. Still, seamless! Just pentatonic scales bro....LOL

Two legends playing and obviously enjoying the jam.
God bless rock and roll and the guys that put down the jams we all love.
I don't know when this was recorded, but believe it or not Rock Legend Jeff Beck is 68 year old. Just fucking amazing.
RIP SRV

For those of us who remember parts of the 70's :) there were a few legends we lost one of my favorites we Tommy Bolin. He had his own band and was the guitarist for Deep Purple for a while.
Busting out for Rosie and Post Toasties are two of my favorite solo songs he did. Smoke on the water was my favorite from his Deep Purple days.
Heroin took him from us.
