    • @rozza2012 Libertarians would be called liberals in the classical sense, if statists didn't hijack it first. Modern liberals are in love with the idea that if you change the name of something, all the negative associations that accompanied it go along with it. They must have switched between calling themselves liberal and progressive a number of times throughout the century. It is similar to the politically correct euphemisms that plague our society today.

    You've already got the late-stage abortion made illegal (Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003), which is quite fine since that's about the same time that the fetus becomes conscious, and isn't just 'potential life'.   • I think that Akin asshole "raised the abortion issue" quite well on his own, not to mention the fact that a TOTAL abortion ban is part of the Republican Party Platform, but according to Conservatives, it's "Liberals" that are making it an issue.
