Polk Salad (Poke Salit) Annie: Tony Joe White and Johnny Cash
Tony Joe White was a guest on the Johnny Cash Show twice. This is the highly entertaining "Polk Salad Annie" duet he and Johnny Cash did on his first appearance in episode no. 27, April 08, 1970.
The other song Tony Joe White sang that night was "High Sheriff of Calhoun Parish".

I googled Tony Joe, and was surprised to learn he is still alive and well, and preparing to tour through australia and new zealand soon. good for him!
