  • How in the fuck is that the fault of the Harley rider?

    Would the KTM rider be blaming a racoon if it wandered into the road?
    Or would the KTM rider be blaming a tree-branch, if it were laying in the road?


    The KTM driver was riding too fast for conditions, and that is that.
    If you don't know what is around the corner, perhaps you should ride in a manner that leaves yourself some options.

      The difference between a racoon/branch and a motorcycle rider, the rider should be a whole lot more fucking smart about being in the center of a well ridden road.

      I ride my bike every day. Good weather and bad. I ride in all road conditions, day and night.
      I can tell you that I, and those I choose to ride with, would not have hit the guy in the road. We drive safely, and take responsibility for our own actions.


      But what I find interesting is that by your logic, the KTM rider would be at fault if the obstacle was a raccoon.

      But, because the obstacle was instead a man, the KTM rider is now suddenly blameless.
