A video from a red light camera shows a traffic accident last week which
injured former Palm Coast City Councilman William Venne and a Flagler
County Sheriff's deputy.

The camera captured the crash at Palm
Coast Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway when Venne's car collided with the
patrol car. The patrol car with its emergency lights flashing slowed
down to a near stop before proceeding westbound through the
intersection, the video shows. Venne's southbound Smart Car T-boned the
patrol car as it crossed the intersection, the video shows. Venne had
the green light, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
