keeping straight and narrow

straightening train rails at The Colvillen Glengarnock Steel Works, Coatbridge in 1954. A short piece of film from the NLS (Nat Library Scotland), unfortunately it has no audio. it was to demonstrate how they straightened the newly made rails which were always bent by the process by first bending them slightly one way and then re-rollering them so they emerge dead straight.
(I just double checked and it's a demonstration film by the firm trying to sell the roller equipment)

it's only short but has the Industrial 1950's written large all over it!
