Also living in a difficult environment makes people strive to better themselves, many doctors and professionals in the UK now are from 3rd world or developing countries. Whilst here in the west a lot of people are getting very lazy, expect a free ride and gradually get fatter and more useless.

How can you write off 400 million people as lazy ? It is true many doctors and professionals come to the U.K. The reason for this being it is so expensive to train as a doctor in the U.K, its seven years of university, poorer families simply cannot afford it even with student grants etc.

  • it is a known fact that america is not lazy... in fact most of this country is workaholics. the stereotype that america is lazy is false, just as all muslims are terrorists. if anything, "laziness" is likely to be attributed to the dependence on technology.

Yes America and U.K work the longest hours in the western world while having the fewest holidays. They also work alot of unpaid overtime.

Well said. for example, look at France and their average work week of 30 hours, then look at America where the average work week here is 55 hours. I personally have worked, on a 2 month stretch, 115 hours a week, with no days off...this is just an example my average work week is 60 hours...
