If you say that God created the universe, you've only postponed the problem. How was God created? You could say that God "just is", but why not say that the universe "just is". God could be the fact of existence. See Pantheism:

If you could disprove the existence of God, there would be no more religion, right? All of the worlds problems would go away, right? If you are so sure that everyone who does not agree with your theories is simply stubborn or retarded THEN PROVE THEM WRONG. That should be easy for someone who is so certain of his convictions.
