I wouldn't want to be trapped in a room with him but I love the fact that people like this exist. People might say he's a geek but he's not doing any harm, in a small way he's making the world more interesting. I'd take 1 train geek over 10,000 scumbag louts.

Not sure why folks are amazed this fellow enjoys his trains the way he does.... I see people EVERY week act worse watching football... but oh yeah.. that's acceptable. Give the guy a break. He is VERY knowledgeable about that part of American history. It's not my thing... but to each his own.
