WASHINGTON, D.C. -- House Republican leader John Boehner choked back tears Thursday in a speech on the House floor.

Boehner, of West Chester, was speaking about a $95 million war funding bill.

He stirred memories of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, saying that 3,000 Americans died at the hands of terrorists.
