Video #3 of Salvadorans, the most fierce, violent and war-like people of all Latin America. They were such a fierce indian tribe 500 years ago that the Spaniards were never able to conquer them. They have fought all their neighbors and never lost a war. They were deployed in Iraq in 2003.

  • i have worked with several salvadorans, they are different people than the mexicans. They are more open minded and less egotistical, more likely to accept you as equal man to man without the macho bullshit brown pride tude, and nicer people than mexicans who are not always easy to deal with.

  • Hmmm...
They have weapons made in USA, so we sponsored that war.
I think it was during Cold War, so we were trying to keep Communism out of Central America.

  • So the Spanish couldn't conquer them! Wow. So what language do they speak there then? What is their religion...

I'm sure that they are a fine people, but let's not go overboard with the wild claims.

  • For all of you ignorants who believe whatever they are told y their government.
The salvadorean war started near the 60's and ended in 1992 in a peace agreement. The war was between the dictatorial government and the communist rebels. The war was funded by the CIA in order to keep their interests safe in that country, regardless of the death squads, massacres and genocides perpetrated by the government.
trust me, my parents and sisters lived through it.

As far as I remember from my rusted history lessons, the spanish "conquistadores" did conquer them, just as they did with the rest of the central and south american tribes. The name "San Salvador" and the fact that they speak spanish (along with their native tongue) is surely a giveaway.

    • Spaniards conquered all land around Central America except the Cuscatlan territory, where the Atlacatl indians (modern day salvadorans) lived. Salvadorans accepted Spanish as their language voluntarily and for convenience since all their neighbors spoke it, Belize speaks english and they were never connquered by the Brits, but accepted the language out of convenience.

    • Sorry to correct you, but the area of Cuscatlán was conquered and pacified in 1539. True that they resisted fiercely, but eventually the area became one more province of the colonies, completely subdued to the spaniards.

    • Please, the Spaniards only conquered weak indians, they failed to conquer the Salvadorans and the Arauca indians of Chile who were as fierce as the Zulus of Africa.

Spain has never won a war against an equal-sized opponent, and the only war that Spain has won in the last 200 years was that island they stole from the weak, impoverished nation of Morocco in the 1990's.

Why did Spain go fight for an african little island that belongs to Morocco but yet doesn't have the balls to take Gibraltar More..

    • I see you have sympathy for the indians of central and south america. Me too. but history is history.

The Cuscatlan indians were subdued. Fact.

Regarding the "tiny island" you mention that belongs to Morocco, it shows again that you have no idea of what happened there. War? Belongs to Morocco? No fucking idea.

As for Gibraltar, we did try to conquer it back, but the british fortified the rock so well that we could not get it back.

Finally, "Spain has never won a war agai More..
