The University of Tehran unveiled on the 01.07 a new Robot produced by them the Surena 2.
Surena 2, which weighs 45 kg and has a height of 1.45 meters,its a Humanoid Robot which can move like a human being. Upcoming project by Tehran University is Surena 3 which will be unveiled on 2012 it will feature a authentic human looking skin. Iran plans to mass produce Robots in near future for Military,Space,Private Company usage. Irans first Humanoid Robot was build 1999.
