This man was ganged up on by a mob of lynch happy Dominicans for allegedly stabbing his wife to death. The lynch mob said the victim stabbed his wife no less than 25 times with a knife. He was brutally beaten with sticks and baseball bats.

The Dominican Republic is a popular vacation spot for many people from North America and most of the country is safe, but the capital city of Santo Domingo, is really rough and best avoided. The city of Santiago de los Caballeros where I think this video is from is mostly safe, but there are many slums in the western part of the city where crime is rampant due to widespread poverty.
