Man, I do not miss gathering the fire wood! Splitting a hundred loads of damn wood in a weekend. Good for you though, saves a HELL of a lot of money! PEACE

Uhuhuhuh Beavis! Hey overlord why not just chop up the wood there, collect what you can and leave the rest to dry? Im sure you know what you are doing when it comes to chopping trees for firewood but you have to wait a whole year?

Uhuhuhuh Beavis! Hey overlord why not just chop up the wood there, collect what you can and leave the rest to dry? Im sure you know what you are doing when it comes to chopping trees for firewood but you have to wait a whole year?
You have to season it for at least one year and it's a whole lot easier, on the saw and otherwise, if you let it do that before you saw it up.

You have to season it for at least one year and it's a whole lot easier, on the saw and otherwise, if you let it do that before you saw it up.
like Dad said you need to season it to help cut down the creosol and the one I cut in this vid was pine and I will buck and split it and may not use it till the winter of 2011-2012
