Taiwan Lantern Festival
When the Taiwanese aren't crashing scooters they do some pretty cool stuff.
This is the annual Lantern festival held just after Chinese New Year. The balloons called 'sky lanterns' are made from paper on which wishes and blessings are written for good luck and prosperity. Fueling the balloons is a thin stack of paper (ghost money i believe) soaked in paraffin. Not my video. Lifted from poochube. Happy lunar new year all.
