  • 200$ for that
Ittle knife. I can get a whole set go Ginsus for myself and one set for a gift for 29.95$. And the Ginsus will cut through a lead pipe then slice through a tomato like it was butter.

    • @19deltaCAVscout not everyone can carry a gun, nor is this meant to be used in a gunfight, plus this knife can help you with weapon retention if you have a gun

True, and up close and personal a knife is often the best weapon.

Knives are perfect for gun retention, but you have to make it immediately available to your support hand.

People who laugh at a knives as a weapons need not look too far back in history to see how devastating they can be even on large populations. Rwanda immediately comes to my mind, right along with the Roman empire, medieval knights, Samurai and this list could get very long indeed.

      Cheers

    • @LostSomewhereInSpace You're not allowed to stab people because they threaten you.
      I know this.

a knife is perfectly legal to carry here in California, and we are allowed to defend ourselves if we feel our life is under threat. obviously you have to prove this to the courts, but using a knife for self defense here in america is not an automatic jail sentence as you believe.

  • Well, I like it. Smooth deployment and another tool for the toolbox. Spyderco make good knives, but I'm still in the Emerson camp, especially with their wave knives.

    • @tat2d -Protruding from the top of the blade's spine is a removable Emerson Opening feature. The device popularized and patented by Ernest Emerson of Emerson Knives, functions by catching the back of a pant's pocket when drawing the knife, opening blade in the same motion..

  • Hopefully wannabees who wear knives for "self defense" do not learn basic moves in fencing.

    • @goervideos personally i believe fencing skills would be excellent for real life self defense. fencing is all about counter attacking, and they have extremely fast reflexes with pinpoint accuracy. a guy skilled in fencing could defend himself very well with just a pen.

    • @LostSomewhereInSpace Let me tell u an anecdote, when i joined the army i learned close combat and knife attack/defense (and i was one of the best in my unit); it was my beginnings so "few" months after i had a holiday.

So one afternoon i decided to test my new skills (i was pumped up by my new status as a beast of war)on my brother (who was 17).

I gave him a combat knife(austrian army, a really good one..., but that another story), in its sheath of course, and told him : no rules, at More..
