Why do these "9/11 Troothers" torment me so?

On a scale so unimaginably moronic, insanely stupid, and so unbelievably incomprehensible that it defies words to explain it; that there are people out there -- even fellow Americans -- who believe that 9/11 was orchestrated by some nefarious conspiracy of such gigantic proportions as to involve, by necessity, practically every alphabet soup agency within our own government, that of many foreign agencies, and throughout the private sector that it boggles the mind in both size and scope.

And to think that these same 5,000 to 10,000 provocateurs of evil, our next door neighbors, sons and daughters, and loyal soldiers in uniform -- people sworn to defend and protect our nation from threats -- could so willingly collude at every level in real time so seamlessly and in total secrecy as to pull off the greatest of all conspiracies in the history of mankind's imagination would be quite astonishing indeed.

And what of those American patriots who said "no" to the idea of massacring up to 50,000 people on 9/11 (the number who worked in those buildings)? Did they keep it a secret too? Has not one brave soul in the "home of the brave" even dared to make an anonymous disclosure?

And to what end? To give Pres. Bush a justifiable narrative upon which he could launch a trillion dollar invasion of Iraq only later to find out that the narrative was based on falsehoods and mistakes? Surely he could have ordered up another conspiracy to plant some WMD's in Iraq, no? Wouldn't that be a lot easier than pulling off 9/11?

The insanity of these "conspiracy theorists" makes me want to vomit. I feel sick from it. How people in this day and age can flounder so helplessly in their own cesspool of ignorance, I do not know.
