Daredevil Jumps 2,400ft in a Wingsuit Onto Cardboard Boxes w/ No Parachute (Ridgewood,UK)
(May 23rd, 2012) Gary Connery, a 42-year-old daredevil, plunged from a helicopter in a death-defying jump before landing in an area containing 18,600 cardboard boxes.
The father-of-two, a veteran of 880 sky dives, 450 base jumps and dozens of film and television roles, jumped this afternoon above Ridge Wood, Bucks to become the first person to jump from such a height and live without deploying a parachute. (Click for further info).

@2Crazy4U ....and the skill and knowledge. There are a lot of people coming up with ridiculous fancy schemes to land a wingsuit. This guy did it with cardboard boxes and a neck brace because he knew from his stunts that it could easily take it. He was right, he was first and all the others with grandiose plans and silly contraptions are left in his dust.

Jesus...HE HAD A PARACHUTE ON...
He just never deployed it...The point was the parachute was for safety if he got into trouble from the helicopter jump..
It was a great jump but it wasn't without a parachute which thanks to headlines like that is what most people think.
