Nov 22, 2006 - A police chase through Davie, Florida, which ended with a rollover crash was caught on video today. Fort Lauderdale police at the scene said the incident began in the 2000 block of Northwest 49th Street, where the man attacked a woman who was thought to have been a girlfriend or his wife as she was going to work. Early police reports were that he beat the woman with a gun - the parking lot was bloodstained - before police showed up and the chase began. The woman was taken to an area hospital, police said. The suspect took off and police began chasing the domestic violence suspect in his Jeep. At times the suspect drove erratically, crossing over sidewalks and between trees on a median, before parts of his jeep began falling off. At least one of his four tires was flat when he lost control of the vehicle, drove up on a sidewalk and slammed into a tree, before he flipped over several times. The suspect's condition is unknown at this time.
