There is cool fortress here beside my town which was built in the times when turks were invading europe. Osman empire. Fortress was built between 2 big mountains so turks can't pass into big town and toward sea.

Glad to see Turkey's police took care of the incident in short order. As far as us having a base in Turkey it is mutually agreed upon by both governments. I don't think it is necessary today and would be happy if we withdrew many of our overseas bases not just those in Turkey. As far as the hood incident, the soldiers had crossed into Northern Iraq in pursuit of Kurdish terrorist. It was not handled well by either nation.
