I've read that one who stands in front of John Bonhams drums would soon be deaf .... ie he smacked the shite out of them
BTW, has anyone else heard Kevin Gilbert's version from the 90's .... a little faster in tempo, rocks any way you slice it

There stuff sounds fresh 1/3 of a century later whereas most bands of that era sound dated. Amazing.

So true...nobody has recreated the soul of their music. Their music was about the sounds not the lyrics.
