US graduate looks for job as English teacher in China
specifically in Shanghai. English classes are getting more and more expensive now in China as more kids are going to study overseas. Last week one of my relatives' kids applied for a TOEFL training course. Tuition and fees are around 10,000 yuan for only one month and there are just 2 class meetings in a week. Crazy.

same in Japan. many people have a rudimentary understanding of english but just need polish. often, no degree required- at least that was 10 yrs ago, might be different now
