  • I built my business using federal grants and private loans like many other small business owners. After the recession, private lending dried up and would not have been possible without government intervention.

    I am not sure Republicans want to go down this road with as much taxpayer money was wasted on Halibuton, KBR and Blackwater.

    • @usmc-god-of-war I don't blame the employee, but you guys got paid three times your military counterpart to do the same work; you can't tell me that is not wasteful especially since we soldiers had to do most of the work anyway.

      How much my guys gave to the middle east wouldn't amount to a days worth of the money your guy made dissappear over there. You sure this is the path of debate you want to take?

  • Obama's statement applies to Fortune 500 but not to medium and small business? Are you serious with that comment?

    Really? Explain to me how these companies came to be on the Fortune 500 without FIRST being a small business?

    And did the government build the infrastructure of the United States with their hard-earned money? Did they save up their money, working 12 hours days, 6 days a week, producing a good???(other than legislation and the war machine)
