DHS Checkpoint Blog Entry 6: Quasi-Detention
This video is #6 in an ongoing series highlighting my seizures at an internal suspicionless Homeland Security checkpoint in Southern Arizona.
The seizure took place on March 3, 2008 over 40 miles North of the border on SR86 near mile marker 146.
The stopping agent was the same one who had stopped me on multiple occasions in the past and knows who I am and why I'm traveling along the road. N
More..onetheless, he insists on playing domination games while making conflicting statements regarding my status (i.e. whether or not I'm being detained). Less..

this guy is awesome. it is both hilarious and disgusting to see the comments on his other videos from so-called 'americans' insisting that the proper treatment for such flagrant questioning of an authority figure is the application of immediate physical violence to his person.

You must live in southern Arizona.
So you must know of the MASSIVE amount of illegal immigrants and drug traffickers that pass through southern Arizona.
You must work in Arizona so you HAD to have seen the MASSIVE number of illegal workers here in various businesses. You would have seen the change in the construction workforce these past 20 years and the wages barely move. Try being a contractor. The amount of illegal workers was absurd. Nor is there any draw from our youth for apprenticeship from these folks.
The rest hung out at any Home Depot or such by the dozens looking for cash work.
The Mayday strike/protest, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the economy has changed much of that in Maricopa County these past years.
Good job Sherrif Joe.
I went javelina hunting near Arivaca recently.
The desert is covered for miles with trash form these folks. This is 20 miles from the border and 15 miles from the freeway in the middle of nowhere.
Every night 5-6 pickup trucks loaded to the brim with people, front and back, would pass our camp with the lights out in pitch dark.
That stop was no different than a border patrol checkpoint which are all over that area.
These folks need to be out there and you should be THANKING them.
I think you are a bit obnoxious and antagonistic.

Talk about "wanting your cake and eat it too".
People are screaming at the Govt to "keep them safe", and "seal the borders" then in the next breath "damnit stop doing what we're asking you to do".
Everyone wants to be safe but dont want it to cost them anything. Pathetic!

you're right, but check points are so inefficient. we should just implant computer chips in all american citizens so the government can easily and discretely identify us. No mess, no fuss. we want to be safe, right?

I feel pretty much the way you do, but this guy's not doing anything but making the life of a low level agent hell.

I hear ya friend. He likes to dress up for the ladies. Still some Americans need to face the music and realize that freedom, especially today, aint for free and WILL require sacrifice. By that I mean a little inconvienience. If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. But all too many people in this Country like to use our freedoms to "skirt" around if you will, authourity. If these stops are for the betterment of this Nation, then give a little. If they go beyond the better interest of this Country, then I guess it'll be time to take big daddy down. Peace

My friend you are a ******* full bred ass hole. Get a life. As a matter of fact why don't you pack your bags and buy a one way ticket out of this country. You ******* liberals make me sick. Actually I hope some of the heroin that makes it to the US gets into your kids arm. Better yet I hope that illegal alien that made it through that checkpoint slaughters your whole family for a plasma TV and gameboy. If we're lucky maybe Muhammad can sneak an explosive device through that checkpoint and blow it up in your kids school. By the way did you ever serve any time in the Armed Services defending those rights you abuse? If you want I'll be driving by a VA cemetary tomorrow. I'd be more than happy to piss on one of the graves for you. I'm only a 1 hour drive from Ground Zero. I'll throw down an American flag and shit on it if you want. You are a traitor to this country. A defiant piece of shit.

I already feel safe.
I am prepared to protect myself and my family via the rights afforded me in the 2nd amendment.
I don't know how you could make comments like that if you had seen what is happening along our border for years. There are now 25 million ILLEGAL immigrants in this country in every state in the nation.
I support what it takes to secure our southern border.
What little enforcement there is along our borders is laughable.

I wouldn't say hell but it is a pain in his @ss, no doubt.
I think that these low level agents have an important part to play in stopping this unlawful conduct.
It is also incumbent on us to make sure that our views are made known to politicians...
Things like this that happen in the U.S. are parroted by idiots here in Canada. It's that whole inferiority complex thing going on.
I don't want to seem like I'm fixated on Hitler or WWII but if you look at who gave Hitler his power the simple answer is that it was the beaurocrats.
btw. I appreciated your comment. No death threats of any kind. lol.
