RAW - FARC deadly ambush vs Colombian Army soldiers
the video that was filmed on April 28, 2012 by Romeo Langlois, a French
reporter for France 24, during a firefight between FARC and Colombian
troops carrying out an anti-drug raid in Caqueta, a rebel-stronghold in
the south.
After being surrounded and just before being captured, the French
journalist (shot in the arm) was able to hide the memory card of the
camera.
Four soldiers and a police official were killed during the firefight.
Another six officials were injured, with few others captured.

@Stankin nothing wrong with the school of the Americas, its a great way to train our allies in special warfare. This unit was from being special ops. They had horrible training and were completely out maneuvered,while barely firing any shots. the most common problem for a lot of soldiers even in the thickest of battles is most of them will never fire a shot unless properly trained.

The thing i find most profound about watching these types of videos, is watching these soldiers function, looking at their faces, looking into their eyes, seeing the life in them, and then theyre dead in an instant, like the black guy who was with the journalist...then you think about that day, and when that person woke up, they didnt think they were going to die, they didnt know any of that would happen, but as you watch the video, you know what is going to happen to them...

Like a captain going down with his ship, that journo was going down with his camera...filming to the last...To be honest, he isn't trained to shoot these weapons and based on how quick this ended, not pointing a gun probably saved his life...just saying.. :)
