this whole incident just goes to show that you are the only one truly responsible for your own safety and survival. Never expect that the measures are in place should something go wrong, and be informed about the measures that do exist but realize that those are never a sure thing.

Captain coward now says he and most of his crew "fell" into the lifeboats by accident and tried to get back on board but the lifeboats was released by other crew members....italians should really choose their captains more carefully.....
