The Assad dictatorship *defines* terrorism as any form of public opposition to Assad's bizarro personality cult dictatorship. In the beginning of the Syrian uprising Assad troops and especially his paramilitary goons called the 'shabiha' fired indiscriminately into the unarmed protestors just for the thrill of watching the helpless crumple to the pavement. Many of the Sunni soldiers refused to participate and defected to the nascent FSA, burgeoning their ranks. Fast forward 18 months and the FSA is much larger, more powerful, and more organized. Assad is desperate, and his foremost Liveleak propaganda puppet C-A-T-000p is reflecting this desperation. While there are surely terrorists amongst the opposition forces to Assad there is no reason to believe they are anything but a tiny minority of that opposition. C-A-T-000p labels all of the opposition as terrorist.
