This reminds me of my favourite uncle,, old Uncle Sloppy. In his younger days he was a radio report and would go to all sorts of different natural disasters.
During Hurricane Hazel of 1952 he was out in the gale force winds and was impaled by a large piece of tubular steel - but he kept reporting. I honestly think the funniest part is how serious these weather reporters try to make the situation and then a bunch of goofs come dancing in ruining their drama.
These weather reporters have this idea in their head that they are somehow trained to deal with flood waters and flying debris and that because they're wearing a Northface jacket, that they are somehow immune to the dangers.
That giant wave disagreed.
