One of the rules I was taught about horses when I learned to ride 45 years ago was "never turn your back on a horse." In this case, she's lucky he didn't bite her nose off!
This is a perfect example of something Ive been trying to explain about animals. They have feelings, they know attitudes, they think and can communicate with other animals by demeaner or tone or spirit of words. Obviously the girl wasnt hurting the horse and could have touched it the same way with a different attitude and the horse would have been fine with it. It was the girls attitude. Animals sense every sort of human trait I have been able to think of and I have seen it. Even things as small as bugs and reptiles. Brain size or anything material has nothing to do with it. There is one creator and the creator is one.
