The NH-90 and the CH-53 are completely different.
The NH-90 is more comparable to UH-60 Blackhawks and Seahawks.

No it is not.
It was a demo brought out by NHI to try and sell to the navy but the navy went with the MH-60R Seahawk to purchase as their new Anti Submarine helicopter.
But the Army did purchase a bunch of the troop transport versions to replace our Blackhawks.
