  • Nobody knows wtf you are talking about. I assume he was put to sleep for some reason but lack of a story is quite lame.

  • Just because a dog doesn't attack you today doesn't mean it won't attack you tomorrow. These animals were bred for attacking and biting. Hopefully it will be the owner of the dog that gets attacked and not some innocent person.

  • Fucking lazy pukes crying about no back story posted are hilariously pathetic. I googled "lennox belfast city council" and got more than enough information. It took 5 seconds. 24 letters typed in less time than you pukes commenting like little bitches.

  • Lennox, an illegal pit-bull terrier type dog, has been put down, Belfast City Council has confirmed.

The dog, which was put down on Wednesday after the expiry of a midnight deadline for legal appeals, attracted a global campaign of support.

Campaigners claimed to have 200,000 signatures supporting a reprieve and emotions were running high.

Staff at Belfast City Council were targeted for intimidation by some supporters.

  • These dogs are illegal for a reason.

    From the council:
"The council's expert described the dog as one of the most unpredictable and dangerous dogs he had come across."
    and
"The people looking after Lennox for the past two years said that one minute the dog was placid and friendly and the next he would try to get through the fence to get at you.

"Now do we release that dog into society? We have a duty of care to people."

    • @lpankhurst These dogs??? His breed was not of pitt bull at all. They took his because of the way he looked. He never did anything. Never tried to bite anyone. Im sorry but if I was locked up for 2 yrs and someone I didnt know came towards me im sure I would attack also. They would never let a vet see him and he had a skin problem that needed meds to treat. Not having his meds and being in pain would make you upset also. You are as cruel as the rest of your country that agrees with this killing. More..

  • Florence, ITALY
Your immoral racial laws and your decision to kill the innocent dog Lennox because of his looks (not of his breed, since he was tested and resulted neither pitbull nor pitbull mix) and despite the official licence that should have allowed him to live, caused me to decide to never visit your country, to never buy anything from your country, and to boicott the image of your country by spreading the (documented!) news about your immoral deeds and laws to all people I know and may kn More..
