TCNs (third country nationals) contracted to work in OIF/OEF endure long work days, cramped living conditions, years away from their loved ones (no R&R, either), exorbitant fees for visa sponsors, and strict regulations on their behavior, movement, and possessions. ...and occasional shenanigans from a friendly American co-worker. All in exchange for a monthly salary equal to (or greater than) their expected annual income in their native land.
I hope they all soon get home to their loved ones with their finances, health, and sanity intact.
