@dreambill Actually, the majority of countries are indeed much harsher in the way they treat shoplifters/theft when compared the the U.S. In the U.S. this kid would've been arrested and would've been given a slap on the wrist. In many countries they cut your fucking hand off or give you a little street justice, like this kid got. So you tell me, would you rather get caught stealing in Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Brazil, China or Turkey or the U.S.?
