  • Who doesn't carry their passport around in a foreign country, then get worked up because someone raises their voice. Damn butt-hurt tourist. I wonder how many other people on that bus didn't have a problem because they brought the only two things that matter. Your passport and cash. Forgetting either is a like a guy forgetting he has a dick. It just shouldn't happen

True, carry a copy at least.

Be repsectful to the cop. If you are required to carry identification and you don't; he would have every justification to arrest you and take you in for questioning.

By being respectful he will likely give you nothing but a warning.

But what if an Albanian sex trafficing ring takes me and my passport away to grind sweaty poles for middle eastern men who wear sunglasses indoors?

WHO'S PARTICULAR SET OF SKILLS WOULD SAVE ME?!

    • @Kmanbay Exactly. And why even risk having to deal with foreign laws? I for one would not want to be arrested in Malaysia or any country around Malaysia. It is not like getting arrested in the states. I hear it can be very bad and almost impossible to get any help from the United States (or possibly whatever the country those two were from in the video).

Simply put. Not worth risking it.

      Exactly.

The guy in the video should have been acting like a guest instead of demanded he be treated as one.

  • OK, you are in a foreign country and you talk back to the police? You self righteous prick.

Don't fuck with the police on vacation in a foreign country. You make all of us look bad and could cause yourself major issues.

You are only considered a guest as long as you follow their rules.

  • The maker of this video and/or the tourist are clearly dickheads.
If I am a guest somewhere, I behave extra friendly.
If I am obliged to have my passport with me, I do so. Or if not, I try to excuse myself and do the best to avoid an escalation.

Was probably his first trip out of his country, huh?

  • "I'm a guest in your home, you talk to your guests this way"---No, a person in my home who I don't know and can't provide I.D., and wasn't invited, and gets a smartass attitude with me gets thrown out and kicked around in the fucking street....and that's if i'm in a good mood.

  • Maybe I'm in the minority here, but if you travel to another country you should learn and respect their fucking rules. Otherwise, don't complain when you find yourself being ass raped in a Turkish prison or some shithole.

  • Unfortunately, one basically needs to have identification on them, especially in a foreign country.

I live in China and next to my wife, that little book is the most important thing that I own, and replacing it would be a real pain in the ass, having to go to Shanghai to the American embassy, and then speak with the Chinese about reissuing my visa. If I lost my passport in another city far away, I would be homeless because no hotel would rent to me without ID (and are anally Commie strict about More..

Our police is so soft that only a British would had an issue with them because your police is extra soft.
Some years ago we were almost crime free - we still have low crime rates, but not as before, and most of our crime is because of illegal -and of all races, even the white- immigrants (Greece is a major gate of entry in Europe from Turkey), so a check from the police usually does not hurt anyone... were you respectful enough to them mate?
      (Albanians are white)
