Hurricane Isaac Tragedy (Discovered Dead dogs)

My friend Steven Spell II wrote: I discovered more death and mayhem the stench is overwhelming I was asked to go to ms Shirley's and kill the breakers make sure the windows were open and that Pepe was okay I was not able to locate Pepe however pepe is a survivor cat she is probably in a tree somewhere. I kind of lost it when I saw the two dogs corpse rotting and stinking I apologize for that but this is hard.

  • It makes me so angry. So quick to leave pets behind. Theyre not some 500 pound person. Animals take up no room to pack up, put in safety the same way youd do for yourself and your family.

After katrina youd think people would be wiser or at least realize after the last time that animal welfare places, people, strangers were ready and willing to help.

    Really really sad.

    * go ahead idiots who will post a stupid reply...

    • @luldayze They didn't leave the pets behind. The flooding started coming in peoples homes in the middle of the night. The old lady Shirley who lives there couldn't go out her home because the water was up to her chest. She got the animals she could get to when the light came up and put them inside up on a table in the kennel, but inside her house and her house is elevated, She was still standing in 2 - 3 feet of water in her home. 2 of the dogs had already drowned by morning when she coul More..

    • @johnsonbilly74 sorry if it seemed like i was having a go at shirley. I was not doing so was just making an overall comment.

I did not know there was no warning for her. Here in oz was constant coverage. I went on that everyone had fair warning.

Once again, i apologize if you felt i was having a go. Im glad steve helped so many all at his own will.

  • Interresting video but a few things i noticed about the mental state of the filmer:
He likes his face to be seen on the camera just a bit too much, and dude: what the hell is the situation with the bow and arrow ? for defence ?

  • Good job looking out for your neighbors... Your right it is dangerous treading around in that water. Those dead dogs go to show.

  • OP Get your facts straight. This is nowhere near Slidell. What's your motivation for your misleading location?
