Three employees at Express Food Mart beat down and caught the suspect who tried to rob the store today. The owner says it all started when the suspect bought a pack of gum, pretended to have a gun, demanded money, and then ripped out the cash register. The employees' adrenalin kicked in and they jumped the suspect.
Police say it turned out they were fighting a woman. Officers arrested Traci Powell. The owner is fed up with getting robbed. He says he was robbed around this time last year. In this case they have the video of the crime and witnesses who took down the suspect.
According to this police report there was another suspect, a woman waiting outside in a car. She told police she had no knowledge of what her friend was up to.
