Trappers just piss me the fuck off. I like to hunt, but the thought of an animal trapped like that and dying a slow agonizing death just makes me sick. I'm glad these guys let the cat go. The one guy has balls of steel because bobcats are not something you want to fuck with.

In my area its legal to trap coyotes which are considered a nuisance animal. As well as minks and other critters. My late Step Dad's Dad used to trap quite a bit before I met them. I never agreed with it and I still don't.

I always trip the traps when I run up on them hunting. I think it's a barbaric act. I don't like seeing anything suffer. Plus, it's a lazy mans way of harvesting wildgame,the trap itself is indiscriminate, snaring everything and anything unlucky enough to step on it.

@Eternal21 well some people would have killed the bobcat instead of releasing it. Nice to see they are a bit more responsible. In addition, it didn't look like it had been there a long time. What kills me is when they set a trap and then don't check it regularly. I have seen wild hogs (friends to NO ONE) left in traps for days to die of exposure and thirst in 100+ weather here in Texas. Disgusting.

Quite honestly Traps are inhuman and people who use them are idiots. If I come across them in the highlands usually Gin traps , I destroy them and will report them to the Authorities. The amount of pain and suffering inflicted on the animal is shocking.
