Over Easter weekend (April 6-9), Occupy DC established a new campsite in front of the Bank of America branch at Vermont Ave and L streets. Park regulations about "sleeping" only apply in parks, so some Occupy DC activists now sleep in front of Bank of America, 25 on Friday night.

On April 10, as the bank prepared to open for the day, police arrested two of the Occupy Activists on legally questionable charges. A cop told the two who stayed put first to move out from the building so window washers could do their job, then turned around and arrested them for blocking the sidewalk by moving to th position the cops asked for! In other words, cops arrested two people for attempting to comply with conflicting orders. Due to the illegal nature of these arrests, the two arrested activists will be suing the DC government as explained in the video.

The arrests didn't work. Occupiers were back by early afternoon, and the "sleepful protest" continues.
