Ok, three problems with this scene:
1. British infantry would not advance silently towards the enemy; there would be much Huzzah's, Hurrah's, cheering, insults being flung and songs being sung; general mutual encouragement as they approached enemy musket lines
2. British Officers almost always led in front of their lines, until the last moment, not standing behind like in the flick. General Cornwallis had his horse shot from under him at close range at Brandywine Creek in 1777, and risked his li More..

*derp*
Yeah, the movie would have been more accurate if the Americans had lost.
I said *derp* already right?
If you want a good revolutionary war movie (though, The Patriot was excellent). Watch HBO's John Adams miniseries.

@ST0N3PONY The movie would have been more accurate if it had detailed the decisive rather than just complimentary role played by the French
John Adams was far better and enjoyable, although again many inaccuracies, particularly around his character

I thought this movie was totally ridiculous. It was just typical hollywood. Last of the Mohicans, now theres a fuckin awesome movie about the French and Indian War.

@The Grim Ever read the book? The film is an absolute massacre...
In the book, the redcoat officer gets the girl...guess that doesn't play too well
Plus the last quarter is really about the Indians.
Good soundtrack though...

@ElegantDecline Great soundtrack. I've read a very long time ago, but I thought the film was excellent. I don't really remember too much about the book except the main characters name was Natty Bumpo lol.

Wow ElegantDecline, you must really hate Americans don't you?
It must keep you awake at night, the fact that a country called the USA exists, I know it hurts your pride, but is not so much as for you to make a video about a Hollyweird movie. Besides, we all know that Hollyweird always has fuzzy history.

@conservative hispanic Lol, its only tongue in cheek...pipe down and carry on
Old school Americans pick up on this and enjoy a bit of banter with us...perhaps people from your background don't really get it
