  • Why are Democrats the only ones upset about the voter ID laws?

    • @LarryThompson

Illegal aliens and black people tend to vote overwhelmingly democrat.

    • @Ruffus It's not really funny it's sad. Think of all the things you need an ID for but EH thinks you need none to vote? What is funny, them thinking the US answers to the UN. The reaal question is why the progressive Dems do not want fair and open elections absent of fraud? Voter ID would help in that regard.

It's sad & funny. funny because for most of my adult life I've needed ID. Funny because just 2 days ago I got asked for ID buying a pack of smokes. I'm 50 BTW.

It's funny the lengths they will go to to block this (The UN? Really?)

It's sad because this should have been law for decades already.

Here in Texas, I thought it was already the law. I have shown my ID every time I have voted.

  • The states should just ignore the Feds and do what ever the hell they want to regarding voting. The UN, what a joke.

  • Say goodbye to States Rights, say goodgye to the Constitution and say hello to the U.N. Charter unless you vote Ron Paul.

  • You've had to show ID, or have someone with ID vouch for you, for a long time, in Canada.

What's the big deal? It helps stop non-citizens from voting. How the hell will this suppress voters? If someone is too stupid to get a piece of ID, they don't need to be voting in the first place.

How do you even get to voting age without getting a piece of ID? I had at least three pieces when I turned 18.

  • Henceforth, lack of identification or presense of death certificate will no longer disqualify you from voting.

  • It should be and should have always been required to have an ID to vote. The fact that it is even in question is comical. If these laws were passed the demorats would lose out on 10 million give or take illegals vote.

This is the same sort of crap this anti American administration has been pulling for years now. Blocking the states from enforcing immigration laws. Now this.

Go to f'n hell you bastards! I dislike republicans as much as I dislike democrats but at least the republicans are getti More..

  • Even if IDs were free, Democrats would still have a problem with it. Why is that?

I wonder if members of the NAACP plan to show identification when entering United Nations building or if it is expected that the delegates that plan on voting themselves are also going to first produce identification.

  • I guess this means since I am a convicted felon on probation not on parole it is against "their" law for the probation department to tell me that I am not allowed to vote.

    Fuck the UN!

I love this part as stated on the voter registration form...

"If you are registering to vote for the first time in your jurisdiction and are mailing this registration application, Federal law requires you to show proof of identification the first time you vo More..
