Traffic on Broward Boulevard just off Interstate 95 remained snarled Tuesday afternoon after three men bailed from a car that police pursued out of Miami-Dade County.

The chase ended moments before twelve noon when the Mercedes being followedleft I-95 on the eastbound ramp to Broward Boulevard where it collided with the back of a second car before spinning out and coming to a stop.

Two women who were in the second car were examined by paramedics at the scene and were not seriously hurt.

Aerial images from WSVN-Ch. 7, WFOR-Ch. 4 and WPLG, Ch. 10 followed the pursuit as the Mercedes sped out of Miami-Dade and into Broward County along I-95 at speeds that were reported to reach 100 mph.

Once stopped on the Broward Boulevard ramp, two of the people in the car attempted to run away, but were quickly apprehended by police. A third person got on the ground outside the vehicle and was also taken into custody.

The television stations reported that the men inside the Mercedes were suspects in a series of earlier burglaries in southwest Miami-Dade County.

According to WSVN, the pursuit began along the Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826) in Miami-Dade and went north until the merge point with I-95 at the Golden Glades Interchange just south of the Miami-Dade and Broward county line.Sometime during the pursuit, the Mercedes had its front passenger-side tire go flat.
