The Carbon Tax Starts Down Under
On July 1st the much hated Carbon Tax was implemented in Australia. Given that PM Gillard made a promise for no carbon tax on video at the beginning of her time in August 2010, and then broke that promise, followed by a devil might care attitude, I cant imagine anything that would enrage Australians as much as this.
Australians will pay $77 million in carbon taxes per week.

@Dave556 Gore has made hundreds of millions. He tried to set up the carbon exchange index here but it fell apart. Aussies paying higher prices for gas and coal made electricity is a sad thing.. A great country and a great people.

Where is all this money going?
Who benefits pay the people paying a carbon tax?
This is a Collection Plate being passed around on a weekly basis.
How do those funds benefit or reduce the carbon out put?
There is no reason for the tax; its like kneeling at your bedside to pray.
