I've seen the heavy oil, I've smelled all I need to smell; I know what has been done to her is not going to go away over night. But I have to admit, after going out there today, I still feel there is some hope. The little "Dam Its," were in the water, dragon flies were mating, seagulls were out, we even seen some pelicans in the bay, before we crossed three-mile bridge.

The only concern that was visible to the eye (without digging) was that the sand was an off-white nearest to the water. And no, it was not wet sand! There were tire tracks all over the sand as well. And I'm speaking of EAST BEACH - East of Casino Beach, and the Portofino towers.

At Casino Beach we saw skydivers. One was a first-timer. She didn't tell anyone in her family about it, except her sister, who then informed her parents, twenty minutes before the jump. They made it to the beach in time to see their daughter land.

I highly recommend (YouTubes's) pcolagregg for daily beach updates. This dude is on the beach every morning letting others know what's going on, regardless of the status quo.
