  • More than any foreign nation, power, or threat, our government fears citizens who long to be free, understand the Constitution (and therefore, the limits on them), and are armed to the teeth.

    • @Hamster Okay, here goes. I am a Vet, so of course I support these guys. I voted for Ron Paul last month here in Florida (Republican Primary). So, I support him too.

Now, as a Vet, I think we are morally obligated to be involved in the Political process. But, public protests as a group of Vets, I think, is beneath our Vet status. We should stay above that.

I don't mean to say, 'don't protest'. If a Vet wants to go OWS knock yourself out, but don't do it as a Vet.

Does that make any sense More..

    • @Flashovr I am willing to bet most of these "vets" have never served, were kicked out or have some axe to grind. The wearing of parts of uniforms does not make someone a veteran.

    • @david2dogs You weren't there. Proof was required to join in the march. Something about preserving the integrity of the event, or something.

    • @Hamster No, I wasn't there. But just like these "vets" that are featured at Occupy event's, most have turned out to have some kind of other than honorable or are found to have never served. If you believe proof was required to join this mob you are naive.
