1920 Wall Street Bombing

Around noon, Thursday, September 16, 1920, an old wagon, pulled by an old dark bay horse, travelled westward on Wall Street. • I did research on this a while ago. Anarchists -specifically Galleanists, anarchist followers of Luigi Galleani, were angry over the indictment for murder of two of their members, Sacco and Vanzetti. Discrimination against immigrants from Eastern Europe and Sicily increased after the bombing.

Pock marks from the heavy iron weights that surrounded over 100 pounds of dynamite are still visible on some of the Wall street buildings today.

    Thanks for the upload.

  • You can go there today and see damage to the stonework on the buildings from the explosion. It was purposefully left there for some reason.

Let us not forget that whilst not all Muslims are terrorists 99% of all world wide terrorism comes from those of islamic faith...

"99% of all world wide terrorism comes from those of islamic faith......".....right.
i agree for this time period.terrorism is practised by all 'faiths'.it has happened in the past...it will happen in the future.don't forget...even the irish have their grievances against the british.it manifested itself all around the world at the time(irish diaspora...a consequence of british dogma,etc.).
history will make the judgements on us all.when we are all dead and buried....what will our offspring think of us all?
try to sleep on that.it keeps me awake sometimes.
    peace mate.godspeed to ya.

No, not mafia, rather Anarchists (the same people some of whom tried to riot during the Democratic and Republican conventions).

Google Sacco and Vanzetti or The Palmer Raids.

  • This was interesting history. And beautify written. But the pics were kinda tame. Would have preferred something more graphic, but that is maybe all that was available in those days.
