You´d think this guy would have learnt from his accident in the exact same place just the other day!

Nice to see the protective gear do it's job. See people in a tee shirt and shorts everyday as they haul ass by me weaving in and out of traffic. Don't think its going to end as well for them.

Excellent, succinct title. So many morons make posts with titles that are useless or misleading.

I has this happen in the S curves of N. Lamar in Austin, Texas in the 80's one night. Beautiful night, dry and warm weather. A Citroën lost the fluids in the turn, and I, needless to say found them.

Never ride the middle...that's where the slippery stuff accumulates. Maybe he target fixated and rode right into it? Either way, glad he wasn't hurt, and good to see someone stop right away. Also, definitely not here in the U.S. because he's wise enough to wear full safety gear.

Target fixation. Right on. One of the best bit of advice I received for racing offroad was "if you see something you DON'T want to hit, don't look it. Look at where you want to go and the bike will take you that way.

@dirtbiker201 I received the same advice during race school before I started roadracing...and I used it in my first race (a.k.a. the "squid" race), when a guy crashed in front of me. There was another guy in front of me who DIDN'T follow the advice, and rode off in the turn right behind the crasher. I just looked thru the turn and it wasn't a problem for me.

owww. he really should have known better than to run the middle. Kudos for the right gear. Would have liked to see someone stop and help him pull his bike out though.

They teach you to never ride your motorcycle at the center of lane because thats where all the cruds are.

And that is why they teach you to NOT ride in the middle of the lane...

Sad thing to see that nice bike damaged, good that the biker was wearing full body protection, as material things can be repaired/replaced, body does not.
