Safe Mode: On
Resisting Tyranny in CheckPoint City, USA

.

My hometown of Laredo, TX, the "Gateway City" (or CheckPoint City) is
surrounded on all sides by Homeland Security and CBP checkpoints, all
approximately 30-40 miles from the border, in America. Laredo is
presently occupied by the U.S Army's Joint Task Force North (Apache,
Black Hawk helicopters, tanks, soldiers and all) running "drills" along
the border ( http://wp.me/p1KX7G-9r ). It is soon to be occupied by UAV drones

  • Well seeing how illegal aliens are sucking us dry, I have absolutely no problem answering a border agent when asked if I am a US Citizen. If it helps them to boot these leaches back into Mexico, I have no problem with it.

It takes 5 seconds to answer the agent's questions, its not a matter of you fighting tyranny its a matter of you being an asshole.

    • @mcazteca Your comment and arguments are so ill-informed and poorly written that I cannot muster the intelligence to begin to correct you.

I'll just say that illegal aliens are absolutely sucking us dry, and are having bigger negative effect on citizens than the nation's war chest.

  • am i the only one that thinks that it would be better idea if they put these "border" patrol agents to patrol the border, rather than 25 or 50 miles in our country. i feel like im going fucking crazy here.

  • Yeah and there's totally no reason for heavy presence on the border. It's not like the Cartels are decapitating Police chiefs and cutting peoples faces off.

Well, these assholes have already ruined the word "Truth", now they are on a mission to ruin the word "Tyranny"...Which is to say they would not know tyranny if it pitched a tent in their ass.

    • @Rock Strongo On the border yes, not within 50 miles of the border.
If they actually secured the border they wouldn't need half as many resources.

    • @deathgod198255
The US Supreme Court ruled otherwise. NO ONE has 4th Amendment rights within 50 miles of the US border.
Seriously, people. All US Supreme Court cases are free to research online, get to know your rights.

  • Know what you are up against. The Feds have expanded the definition of 'border' to include 100 miles inland from the borderline. In doing this, they have done away with the 4th Amendment in these areas.

  • They didn't detain him for not answering the question, so what's his point?

He was able to freely travel in the end.

If we fixed our border issues, American citizens wouldn't have to be subject to delays on public roads.

Fix the border, take the power away from Liberals.

  • Sure, it would annoy me to have to constantly show ID, but what's the big deal if you have nothing to hide ..... Ironically, any immigrant can now forcefully make their way through a checkpoint with the aid of these "help" clips ?

I don't fully understand US citizen rights, and won't profess to ..... but if it helps to stop illegal immigrants in the US, is it such an issue ?

    • @Aussie yea i live a thousand plus miles away and they do Id check points all the time and i think it's a load of shit and i think it should be out lawed. i should be able to travel freely without having to answer questions from a police officer, and they like to ask to search my vehicle somethimes and if i say no them they bring in a K9 unit to search my car. They never find anything and i like to piss them off in the process before they let me go. With that said i can see why they do this i More..

    • @gettingrizzly

Yeah, it would annoy the hell out of me as well .... we get random pullovers in Aus, but nothing like this. Surely they can have an automated process for some vehicles, with random checks against these ?

Then again, we have a huge issue of our own with illegal immigrants overstaying their welcome or massive influx of 'boat people', who when caught immediately claim "refugee" status or "asylum seeker".

      But, that's another story ....

  • im tired of all these self righteous rebels that think they are doing good and using the almighty camera, laws and things like this are needed and you would barely even have to deal with it if you didnt go looking for trouble, these people that dont want this stuff would switch sides as soon as something happened that required these types of laws, agencies, forces, etc and would want to know why the government, police, etc didnt prevent or stop it

  • Are you surprised? It's the number one entry point in Texas for sex slaves, guns and drugs, in that order. Oh yeah, guns are coming this way, too. Years ago, it was one of, if not the, best turistas border towns in Texas even though I still prefer 'cuna ("I like my women just a little on the trashy side" - Confederate Railroad) It's too bad it's turned into what it is today. My condolences. Used to enjoy going across to The Cadillac Bar, Diamonde Azul, Papagayo's, and the cheap h More..
